Engineering Students Visit Eaton Plant in Santiago

In May 2015, students of electrical and electronic engineering visited Eaton's plant in Santiago, Chile. During the visit, students and teachers were welcomed in the main auditorium where they received a safety introduction and later a technical update of medium and low voltage products & solutions by Eaton application engineers. They got to see a display of various technologies, including assemblies, circuit protection, drives, control and automation.

After the technical update, the visitors had the opportunity to observe activity on the plant floor where the various phases of construction, assembly, wiring and testing of electrical equipment was taking place in support of the market in Chile and the rest of the region.
